While at CLIPI, Firestone acted as the Center’s executive director and administrator.
Following her time at CLIPI, Firestone focused on her artistic career. She has been a sculptor her whole life, premiering her work in LandSculpture Studio, Zenith Gallery, and her home studio, Firestone Studios. Firestone was on the Board of Directors for the Washington Sculptors Group from 1994 to 2015. She served as the organization’s President from 2004 to 2009.
Now in Santa Barbara, Firestone has spent her time as a volunteer for the Art Association at Westmont College and a docent for the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. She continues her sculpting career out of her home studio.
