
Impact at CLIPI
Osofsky worked on CLIPI cases as a fellow at Hall and Associates.
Osofsky went on to have a distinguished career in academia. She was a visiting scholar at the Sun Yat-sen University School of Law in Guangzhou, China.
Back in the States, Osofsky went on to hold professorships at Whittier Law School, University of Oregon Law School, Washington and Lee University Law School, and University of Minnesota Law School. At Penn State Law and School of International Affairs, Osofsky served as the Dean and a distinguished Professor of Law, International Affairs, and Geography.
Most recently, from 2021 to the summer of 2025, Osofsky was the Dean of Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law. She continues to be the Myra and James Bradwell Professor of Law and Professor of Environmental Policy and Culture at Northwestern.
Osofsky is also the inaugural Director of the Rule of Law Global Academic Partnership, a nonpartisan collaboration of over 150 law schools from six continents advancing nonpartisan civic education, research, teaching, and programming.
Osofsky's pioneering work in academia extends further; she is well-recognized for her more than 50 publications on energy and climate change regulation.
